Extension of exemption period for paying arrears approved by OCCI

Muscat: Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI) has approved the extension of the exemption period for paying arrears of the Chamber's membership renewal fees. 

A statement issued online by Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI) said, ”The Board of Directors of the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry approved the extension of the decision to exempt from paying the Chamber’s membership renewal fees for expired companies, which comes within the Chamber’s concern and its observance of the current conditions that the private sector is going through and in response to the requests of a number of business owners in the governorates of the Sultanate.”

“Extending the exemption period from paying the arrears of the Chamber's membership renewal fees is - 100% exemption from paying arrears fees before 1 January 2020, pay renewal fees for the full year of 2020 and the exemption period will continue until the end of work on Wednesday, March 31, 2021,” the statement added.
