Muscat: The severity of the disease has not decreased until now, rather, the cases have decreased in the Sultanate due to everyone’s commitment to precautionary measures, Ahmed bin Mohammad Al-Saeedi, Minister of Health has said.
The Minister of Health (MOH) said in a statement to Shura Council, "During pandemics and epidemics, there is an international link with the Sultanate to provide vaccines to target groups first."
"There are serious violations that occurred by some of the patients were quarantined, which we were able to detect through Tarassud+ application."
"If we did not implement the complete closure, the human and economic losses would be greater. The decisions of the Supreme Committee shall be studied and based on technical opinion."
There are advanced countries that have reached the stage of selecting cases that enter intensive care, but we did not reach that situation thanks to your cooperation with the Supreme Committee.
We did not reach and we hope that we will never reach what some countries of the world have reached in terms of a shortage of oxygen equipment or the sacrifice of older patients.
The Ministry of Health has never stopped conducting coronavirus tests, and there are days when the number of samples has reached 6,000 samples.
