Mandatory to Omanise medical posts in private sector: Minister

Muscat: A new law promulgated by the Ministry of Health makes it binding on the private sector to Omanise medical posts, His Excellency Dr. Ahmed Al Saidi, Oman's Health Minister said on Sunday.

"We in the health sector believe in absolute faith in Omanisation, and replacement is taking place gradually, as the percentage of Omanisation of dentists in primary health care institutions has reached 100 per cent."

"The Omanisation rate in the pharmacy sector in private sector is still unsatisfactory. Where in the institutions of the Ministry of Health, Omanisation has reached 95 per cent."
