HM reaffirms support to Palestinian people

Ramallah: His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik has sent a written message to Mahmoud Abbas, President of the State of Palestine, Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organisation (PLO).

In his message, His Majesty the Sultan reaffirmed the Sultanate’s firm stance towards supporting the Palestinian people in establishment of their independent state with Eastern Jerusalem (Al Quds) as its capital and the continued Omani efforts for serving the Palestinian cause.

The message was handed over by Salim bin Habib Al Amiri, the charge d’affaires at the Sultanate’s embassy in the State of Palestine, when he met with Majdi Al Khaldi, Advisor to Palestinian President for Diplomatic Affairs. 

During the meeting, Advisor to Palestinian President for Diplomatic Affairs reaffirmed the keenness of the Palestinian  leadership for further enhancement of bilateral relations for the interest of the people of the two countries.

He also valued the Sultanate’s efforts led by His Majesty the Sultan for the support of the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people.
