Muscat: The Sultanate's governorates are expected to witness a decrease in temperature during the next 24 hours.

The General Directorate of Meteorology announced the weather forecast of next 24 hours stating, "It is expected that the presence of dust will continue during the next 24 hours, and the weather will be  clear in general in all governorates of the Sultanate, with the continued flow of dust and plankton coming from southern Iran, which will affect Musandam Governorate, leading to a decrease in the level of horizontal visibility to less than 4000 meters."

"The weather will be relatively cold in the Sultanate, with a decrease in temperatures compared to the previous days due to the blowing of the active northeastern winds on the coastal areas estimated at a speed between 15 to 25 knots," they added: "With the continued blowing of the northwest winds over the desert and open areas."
