Wind speed exceeding 20 knots at some parts of Oman

Muscat: Wind speeds exceeding 20 knots have been recorded at some meteorological stations in the Sultanate causing dust advection.

According to Oman Meteorology, the wind activity is likely to continue until tomorrow evening.

Oman Meteorology said: "Currently Northwest wind activity in most governorates and some meteorological stations recorded wind speeds exceeding 20 knots, causing dust and dirt to blow more than 5,000 metres, with poor horizontal visibility."
