Expat convicted for not wearing mask

Muscat: An expatriate who violated the decisions of the Supreme Committee to deal with COVID-19 has been sentenced to imprisonment for a period of three months and deportation from the country. 

A statement issued online by Public Prosecution said, "A first instance court in North Al Sharqiyah Governorate convicted a resident for violating the decisions of the Supreme Committee to deal with COVID-19 for not wearing a mask, and sentenced him to three months imprisonment and deportation from the country."
