Muscat: The Department of Blood Banks Services (DBBS), on Wednesday, made an urgent appeal to the holders of A- blood to donate blood at the Central Blood Bank in Bausher.
A statement issued online by DBBS said, "We call upon the carriers of the A- type to urgently donate blood today at the Central Blood Bank in Bausher, as a result of the sharp decrease in the stock level of this type."
"Blood donation times are from Saturday to Thursday, from 8 am to 8 pm and on Friday from 3 pm to 8 pm. Please book your appointment to donate blood via WhatsApp at 94555648," the statement added.
