Oman's CPA says it is monitoring price of animal feed

Muscat: The Consumer Protection Authority (CPA) has issued a statement regarding the high price of some animal feed.

A statement issued online by CPA said :"The authority is following with interest what is circulating on social media about suppliers raising the prices of some animal feed due to the increase in the prices of raw materials on the international grain market."

"The authority assures everyone that it is constantly monitoring the situation of grain prices on the global markets in coordination with the concerned authorities. The authority also calls on suppliers to adhere to and not to exploit this situation."
