COVID-19: MOH slam rumours about first case of new strain

Muscat: The Ministry of Health denies rumours about registering the first case of new strain of COVID-19 in Dhofar Governorate. 

An official source at the Ministry of Health denied what has been circulated on social media about the registration of the first case of new strain of COVID-19 in the Dhofar Governorate.

The Ministry of Health calls on everyone not to heed the rumours and take information from its official sources, and legal measures will be taken in this regard.
