Institution in Oman closed by Consumer Protection Authority

Muscat: The Consumer Protection Authority (CPA), has closed an institution in wilayat of Barka on temporary basis for not being committed to providing service to consumers as agreed.

A statement issued online by CPA said: "The Consumer Protection Department in Barka closes an institution specializing in the sale of electrical appliances and surveillance cameras, according to a judicial decision, on a temporary basis, after repeated complaints against it for not being committed to providing service to consumers as agreed upon between them."
