Muscat: The Royal Oman Air Force, with the support of the Royal Army of Oman, have continued to implement a program to transport consumer supplies to some mountainous areas in the Sultanate.
A statement issued online by the Ministry of Defense (MoD), said: "In continuation of the program of transporting consumables and supplies to the residents of remote and mountainous areas in the Sultanate, the Royal Air Force of Oman, with the support of the Royal Army of Oman, transported a number of supplies, foodstuffs and necessary necessities to the people of Jabal Al-Kour village in the Wilayat of Ibri in the Al Dhahirah Governorate and the people of the village of Sint in the Wilayat of Bahla in Al Dakhiliyah Governorate."
The people of the villages involved expressed their thanks and appreciation to the air force and armed forces and the relevant government agencies for the efforts. "The implementation of this program comes within the framework of the national efforts, services and humanitarian aid provided by the Sultan's Armed Forces to the citizens side by side with other governmental institutions," a statement said.
