Cold weather forecast for most parts of Oman

Muscat: Cold weather is predicted over most of the Sultanate's governorates with the advection of medium clouds along the coasts of the Arabian Sea, Oman Meteorology said in it's forecast on Tuesday.

A statement issued online said: "Cold weather with clear skies over most governorates of the Sultanate with advection of medium clouds along the coasts of Arabian Sea. Chances of low clouds or fog patches over Al Buraimi and Al Dhahirah governorates."

"The expected maximum and minimum temperature will be 23 degrees and 11 degrees in Muscat, 23 degrees and 13 in Sohar, 24 degrees and 11 degrees in Ibri and 24 degrees and 8 degrees in Nizwa."

According to Oman News Agency, the highest temperature on Tuesday is forecast to be 29 degrees in the wilayat of Salalah and the lowest is 2 degrees at Jabal Shams.
