#OmanPride: Oman sets world record for candle-lit national flag

Muscat: Oman successfully set a new world record last night and entered the Guinness Book of Records for its candle-lit Omani national flag.
2,016 candles lit up the Qurum amphitheatre forming the shape and colours of the Oman Flag.
The initiative was organized by the Fellowship Fund for the Employees of Ministry of Health to celebrate the 46th National Day of Oman.
Officials from the United Kingdom attended the event, granting Oman a certificate of the Guinness book of records in ‘Biggest flag made of candles'.
