Muscat: Two Indian expats have died and two more have been rushed to hospital after they were involved in an accident near Samail.
The group were believed to be returning to Muscat from Jabal Shams when their car reportedly crashed into a divider.
They are all alumni of Indian School Muscat.
"Our hearts are heavy today on hearing this tragic news and the Indian School Muscat Alumni (ISMA) would like to express our deep and heartfelt sympathies for the families of our beloved alumni," said Mukund Manohar, president, ISMA. "Friends and classmates echo the many words of sympathy for the families of the deceased."
"Our sincere prayers and thoughts go out to the two boys who are still in hospital for their recovery from this traumatic accident," he added. "Our prayers to give them strength and hope, and help them make a full and speedy recovery from their injuries. Their friendships that were unforgettable, fond and memorable, will always be living on in the hearts of the alumni."
"As alumni, we would like to extend any support and assistance to the families and we urge all our fellow alumni to do the same."
