Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik, the Supreme Commander, has issued a Royal pardon to a number of prisoners convicted of different cases.
They included 285 prisoners, 118 of them are foreign prisoners.
The Royal pardon of His Majesty the Sultan coincides with the anniversary of His Majesty's Ascension to the Throne and in consideration of families of the prisoners.
