Muscat: Traffic on Sultan Qaboos Street has been stopped, the Royal Oman Police (ROP) has announced.
The cause of the traffic jam, officials revealed, was an accident between two cars.
ROP said in a statement online: "Currently, a deterioration of two vehicles on Sultan Qaboos Street after Al Khoudh bridge going to the outside causing a traffic jam on the road."
"Please take caution and follow the traffic rules and regulations," ROP added.
