Ministry of Energy and Minerals signs MoU with be'ah

Muscat: The Ministry of Energy and Minerals signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Oman Environmental Services Holding Company - be'ah which aims to regulate the waste management sector, and promote the proper and safe disposal of waste. 

The MoU was signed by his Excellency Dr. Mohammed bin Hamed Al Rumhi, Minister of Energy and Minerals, and Eng. Tariq bin Ali Al Amri, CEO of be’ah.

HE Al Rumhi affirmed his great confidence that the implementation of this memorandum will contribute to the disposal of waste in a safe and secure manner, in line with international standards. He also stressed the importance of this kind of cooperation between the various state institutions to join efforts in the interest of the nation.
