Purchase local handicrafts, OCCI urges tourists

Muscat: An influx of tourists in the winter season at the wilayat of Bidiyah in North Al Sharqiyah Governorate has prompted theOman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI) to urge tourists to purchase local handicrafts.

"Marketing outlets inaugurated by the Chamber's branch in the North Sharqiyah Governorate in the Wilayat of Bidiyah are witnessing flow of tourists during this period.

The marketing outlets were launched in the past year and offer many products, handicrafts and local industries for a number of productive families in the wilayat," a statement by OCCI said.

"We invite all tourists to visit these marketing outlets to support business owners."
