Majlis Al Shura to discuss Oman's budget in closed session

Muscat: Majlis Al Shura will discuss Oman’s budget for 2017 in a closed session which will be attended by Darwish bin Ismail Al Balushi, Minister Responsible for Financial Affairs.
Khalid bin Hilal Al Mawali, the Majlis Al Shura chairman said that he received a letter from the Council of Ministers over the closed 2017 budget discussion session which is scheduled for tomorrow morning (Monday).
According to the law, all Shura and State Council sessions should be public but it is allowed to have closed sessions “in cases which requires to if the two councils and the Council of Ministers agreed to.
