MOH official visits health institutions in Al Wusta Governorate

Muscat: The Administrative, Financial & Planning Affairs Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health (MOH) has visited multiple health institutions in Al Wusta Governorate.  

Among the field visits conducted by the Ministry of Health’s officials, MOH’s Undersecretary for Administrative, Financial & Planning Affairs H.E. Dr. Fatima Mohammed Al-Ajmi recently visited a number of health institutions at Al-Wusta Governorate to follow-up on the work progress.

H.E. Dr. Al Ajmi’s visit included Haima Hospital, Duqm Hospital, in addition to the Community Clinic at the Special Economic Zone at Duqm (SEZAD), as well the Clinic of the customs station at the Port of Duqm where she was briefed on the workflow at these institutions. She further met the administrations and the health workers of the respective health institutions and received their opinions on how to improve the quality of the delivered services, urging them to make every effort to provide the health services.

Moreover, H.E. Dr. Fatima Mohammed Al-Ajmi, MOH’s Undersecretary for Administrative, Financial & Planning Affairs presided over the administrative meeting held at Haima hospital with the presence of Governorate’s health services directors general, directors, and administrative supervisors. The meeting reviewed spectrum of topics related to health system in the Governorate including the health plans, indicators, and achievements. It further discussed the obstacles and challenges that encountered the implementation and the development of workflow in the governorate.
