Muscat: Oman's Culture Attaché in London (OCA) has announced about the temporary suspension of issuance of visas to the Republic of Ireland.
A statement issued online by Omani Culture Attaché in London (OCA), said :"Dear Omani students in Ireland, we bring to your attention that the Cultural Attaché in London is aware of what is being circulated on social media regarding stopping the issuance of visas to the Republic of Ireland."
"According to the website of the Irish Council for International Students and as a result of the coronavirus pandemic, visas have been suspended temporarily, except for exceptional emergency cases or for family reunification. If the visa expires during this period, it will be automatically renewed until April 20, 2021, if your visa is valid, you can return to Ireland."
"In light of the rapid changes due to the pandemic, it is difficult to rely on a single source, and therefore we advise you to seek the news from its official sources, and you should contact the educational institution in which you are studying or which you will join.
