2021's first children in Oman born in Muscat governorate

Muscat: The first two children to be born in the Sultanate in 2021 were delivered in Muscat Governorate according to the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF).

A statement issued online by UNICEF's office in Oman said, “Oman welcomed the first two children born in 2021 at Khawla Hospital in Muscat Governorate.”

“Around 251 babies are estimated to have been born on the first day of 2021,” the statement added.
