DBBS appeals for blood donation

Muscat: The Department of Blood Banks Services (DBBS), on Thursday, made an urgent appeal to donate blood at the Central Blood Bank in Bausher. 

A statement issued online by DBBS said, "The Blood Bank Services Department would like to warn that there is a very sharp decrease in the levels of all blood groups at the Central Blood Bank in Bausher and as a result, DBBS appeals to everyone to hasten to donate blood, as there are a number of disease cases in urgent need of blood transfusion."

"Blood donation times are from Saturday to Thursday, from 8 am to 8 pm and on Friday from 3 pm to 8 pm. Please book your appointment to donate blood via WhatsApp at 94555648," the statement added.
