Muscat: The Environment Authority has denied rumours circulating on social media regarding the postponement of implementation of single-use plastic shopping bags.
A statement issued online by Environment Authority said :"There is no truth about postponing the implementation of the decision to ban the use of single-consumption plastic shopping bags No. 23/2020.The Authority calls for taking the information from its official source."
