Urgent appeal to donate blood in Oman

Muscat: The Department of Blood Banks Services (DBBS), has appealed to the holders of A+ and O+ blood group to donate urgently at the Sohar Hospital Blood Bank

A statement issued online by DBBS said :"Due to a shortage of blood donors at Sohar blood Bank, We appeal to holders of A+ and O+ blood group to take the initiative to donate blood today at Sohar Hospital blood Bank."

"Blood donation times at Sohar blood Bank are from 7: am to 8:pm. Book an appointment to donate blood at Sohar Hospital by sending WhatsApp message to 79900799," the statement added.
