Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik has received a cable of thanks from President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev of the Republic of Kazakhstan, in reply to His Majesty's congratulatory cable to him on the occasion of his country's National Day.
President Tokayev expressed his sincere thanks and appreciation for His Majesty the Sultan's congratulations and sincere feelings. He expressed his confidence over the continuation of strong relations between the Sultanate and Kazakhstan for the interest of the two countries and their friendly people.
President Tokayev also wished His Majesty the Sultan continuous health and happiness, and the Omani people permanent progress and prosperity.

His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik has sent a cable of congratulations to President Roch Marc Kabore of the Republic of Burkina Faso, on the occasion of him taking the oath of office as a president of his country for a new presidential term.
In the cable, His Majesty the Sultan expressed his sincere congratulations and best wishes of success to President Kabore, and the people of Burkina Faso further progress and prosperity. He also wished the friendship relations between the two countries further development and growth.
