Oman Cricket: MCCC and ISM teams register victories

Muscat: Muscat Cricket Coaching Centre (MCCC) defeated Indian School Al Wadi Al Kabir (ISWK) by 28 runs in Oman Cricket Junior Division Under-19 tournament at the Ministry of Sports Affairs Ground II on Friday.
Batting first, MCCC were all out for 171 in 45.2 overs. Mohammed Moshin top scored with 49. Akinjay Jha was the pick of the ISWK bowlers with two wickets.
In reply, ISWK were bowled out for 147 in 40.2 overs. Mohammed Moshin claimed five wickets.

ISM win by 248 runs
In another Under-19 match played at the Municipality Ground I, Indian School Muscat (ISM) recorded a 248-run victory over Indian School Darsait (ISD).
Batting first, ISM piled up 280 runs before being all out in 48.5 overs. Prathyush Sivakumar compiled a brilliant 110. Adhvaith Nair claimed six scalps for ISD.
In reply, ISD were bowled out for 32 in 11.1 overs. Shaju Nair and Anish Rane claimed three and five wickets respectively.

ISM down ISG
In an Under-16 A match played at the Municipality Ground I, Indian School Muscat (ISM) defeated Indian School Al Ghubra (ISG) by 61 runs.
Batting first, ISM put on 174 for five in 20 overs. Azam Ali and Vikram Nabira scored 70 and 48 respectively. In reply, ISG were restricted to 113 for eight in 20 overs. Vikram Nabira claimed three wickets for ISM.
Brief scores: ISM 174 for 5 in 20 overs (Azam Ali 70) bt ISG 113 for 8 in 20 overs (Vikram Nabira 3/17). Points: ISM – 3, ISG – 0.
MCCC A beat BOC B
In an Under-13 B match played at the Municipality Ground II, Muscat Cricket Coaching Centre A (MCCC A) defeated Bosher Olympic Centre B (BOC B) by seven runs.
Batting first, MCCC A put on 165 for three in 20 overs. Arjun Suresh and Rahul Nayak scored an unbeaten 67 and 59 respectively.
In reply, BOC B were restricted to 159 for six in 20 overs. Aditya Menon top scored with 46 runs. Gokul Ram was the best MCCC A bowler with two wickets.
