UAE receives first shipment of Pfizer vaccine

Muscat: The United Arab Emirates received, on Wednesday, the first shipment of Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine. 

A statement issued online by the Emirates News Agency (WAM) said, ”Dubai received the first shipment of Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine against the Coronavirus (COVID-19). The shipment was transported from Brussels to Dubai by air through a flight to Emirates Air Cargo, the shipping arm of Emirates Airlines. The shipment is being stored in the Emirates Sky Pharma facilities designated for storing the vaccine.”
