New COVID-19 cases continue to decline in Oman

Muscat: For the first time in the last few months, Oman on Thursday reported less than 60 COVID-19 cases with no new deaths.

The Ministry of Health registered only 54 new coronavirus cases and zero deaths in Oman on Thursday.

The total cases in the country have now touched 128290 including 120441 recoveries and 1491 deaths with a recovery rate of 93.9 percent.

The ministry urged everyone to adhere to social distancing instructions issued by the Supreme Committee and the MOH.

On Wednesday, Oman reported the detection of 93 new cases of COVID-19.
