Oman station records quake in Arabian Sea

Muscat: An earthquake measuring 5 on the Richter scale was reported in the Arabian Sea this morning, according to the Earthquake Monitoring Centre at Sultan Qaboos University

No detail was given about the distance from the Sultanate.

In an online statement, the Earthquake Monitoring Centre (EMC), said: "An earthquake measuring five on the Richter scale was recorded in the Arabian Sea at 7:40 am Sultanate time.”
