Khat smuggling attempt foiled in Oman

Muscat: Mazyona port customs has foiled the smuggling of more than 400 packages of khat.

A statement issued online by Oman Customs said: "The customs team at Mazyona port thwarted the smuggling of large quantities of khat. The seized quantity reached more than 400 packages that were hidden inside the trailer in a professional manner and covered with an iron plate."
