Two ships inaugurated by MAFWR

Muscat: The Minister of Agricultural, Fisheries and Water Resources (MAFWR) inaugurated Santiago and Fakhr Al Bahar ships. 

A statement issued online by Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources said, "His Excellency Dr Soud bin Hamoud Al Habsi, the Minister of Agricultural Wealth, Fisheries and Water Resources inaugurates the Santiago ship that belongs to the Omani Fish Company and works in a way that uses hedge nets to catch small pelagics."

"His Excellency the Minister of Agricultural Wealth, Fisheries and Water Resources also inaugurated the Fakhr Al Bahar vessel that is affiliated with the Fakhr Al Bahhar Company and works in a way of using hedge nets to catch small pelagics."

"This comes within the framework of developing the commercial fishing fleet," the statement added.
