Illegal site used as slaughterhouse raided by Municipality in Oman

Muscat: A site in Sohar, being used as a slaughterhouse for cows, has been raided by the Sohar Municipality for violation of health requirements.

The Municipality said in a statement, "Sohar Municipality, in coordination with the Public Prosecutor and the Royal Oman Police, raided a site at a farm where cows were being slaughtered in unsanitary conditions and at an unauthorised location that violates health requirements. The necessary legal measures are taken against them."
