Expat worker dies in Oman

Muscat: An expat worker died on Wednesday after he collapsed while carrying out a maintenance work in North Al Sharqiyah Governorate.

In a statement issued by the Public Authority for Civil Defence and Ambulance ( PACDA ) said: “After strenuous efforts that lasted for a period of 11 continuous hours, rescue teams in North Al Sharqiyah Governorate were able to remove an Asian worker who had collapsed with sand while he was carrying out maintenance work for one of the falajes in Samad Al Sha’an in the Wilayat of Al Mudhaibi, and he was found dead.”
