Google services in Oman are temporarily down

Muscat: Users of Google in Oman and around the world are currently unable to access their email and other accounts, as many of the search engine giant’s services appear to be temporarily down.

Users who attempt to use Google’s services receive a message that reads, “We’re sorry, but your account is temporarily unavailable. We apologize for the inconvenience and suggest trying again in a few minutes. You can view the G Suite Status Dashboard for the current status of the service.”

Visitors who log in to the G Suite Status Dashboard will see red markers against all of Google’s services, which include Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Drive and many others.

Google’s services, when running normally, have green markers against their names, while an orange marker refers to service disruptions. A red indicator signifies a service outage.

Status updates for each of the services say the team at Google are “aware of a problem” and are working on resolving it.
