Facilities announced for citizens working in transport, fisheries

Muscat: The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources in cooperation with Oman Development Bank (ODB) has announced about the facilities for citizens who working in transporting and marketing fish to buy new trucks or equip their trucks and convert them into refrigerated trucks. 

A statement issued online by Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources said, "Referring to the ministry’s decision that an automatic refrigeration device should be installed in vehicles for transporting and marketing live aquatic wealth, and the ministry’s endeavour to provide facilities for citizens working in the activity of transporting and marketing fish to buy new trucks or equip their trucks and convert them into refrigerated trucks in cooperation with Oman Development Bank."

"Those wishing to go to the bank's branches according to the states to which they belong to apply for financing in accordance with the specified specifications and requirements, and bring with them the required supporting documents," the statement added
