Oman Cricket’s annual awards ceremony split  into three days

MUSCAT: Oman Cricket’s annual prize distribution ceremony has been split into three days due to Covid-19 protocols as team and players will be honoured by the chief guest Janab Al Sayyid Qais Khalid Al Said, OC Vice Chairman, on December 15, 16 and 17 at 5 pm on Oman Cricket Academy ground in Amerat.  

The first ceremony for the season 2019-20 will take place on Tuesday, December 15 which will see Premier, A and B League and Knockout tournament teams being honoured by the chief guest along with senior OC officials.

Teams from B to H Divisions will receive their awards on Wednesday, December 16 while Thursday’s (December 17) ceremony will honour Junior League U-13, U-16 and U-19 teams along with participants of Women’s League tournament.

In order to avoid a big gathering, Oman Cricket has taken steps to ensure adherence to Covid-19 health protocols and precautions, dividing the ceremony into three parts on three days.
