Several sites raided in Sohar

Muscat: Sohar Municipality raided a number of sites in the wilayat for violating the regulations.

In a statement issued, Sohar Municipality said: "Sohar Municipality, in coordination with the Public Prosecutor and the Royal Oman Police, raided a number of sites that  violated municipal laws and for practicing unlicensed activities inside farms (carpentry - blacksmithing - cleaning and washing of carpets) in an unhealthy environment. Legal measures are taken against them."
