Oman's Foreign Minister meets German counterpart

Muscat: His Excellency the Minister of Foreign has met the Minister of State of the German Foreign Ministry.

A statement issued online by the Foreign Ministry said: "His Excellency Sayyid Badr bin Hamad bin Hamoud Al Busaidi, Minister of Foreign, met with Miguel Berger, Minister of State at the German Foreign Ministry, on the sidelines of the 16th session of the Manama Dialogue Conference 2020.”

The statement completed: "The two sides confirmed the two countries’ keenness to enhance the existing cooperation between them and to continue developing them in various fields, especially with regard to economic, commercial and investment cooperation, as well as following up the results of the work of the Omani-German joint committee.”

“The two sides also exchanged views on various current issues, including international cooperation to start the gradual distribution of vaccines for immunisation against the emerging coronavirus, Covid 19,” the statement added
