Oman's Health Ministry signs training agreement with Al Sharqiyah University

Muscat: The Ministry of Health (MOH) , represented by the General Directorate of Human Resources Development, has signed an agreement with Al Sharqiyah University for training students of the College of Applied and Health Sciences at the Directorate building in Al-Watiyah.

A statement issued online by the MOH said: "The agreement was signed on behalf of the Ministry of Health by Dr. Ahmed Al-Abri, Director General of Human Resources Development at the Ministry, and on behalf of Al Sharqiyah University, Dr. Fuad Shaddad, President of the University. The agreement stipulates that the health facilities of the Ministry of Health could be used to train students of the College of Health Sciences at Al Sharqiyah University."

"This agreement is the second in a group of similar agreements. It comes within the framework of the facilities provided by the Ministry of Health for the private higher education institutions with the aim of providing students of these institutions with scientific and applied knowledge in their field of specialisation."
