Beware of fraudulent emails, says Oman Post

Muscat: Oman Post has warned customers never to share their bank details through email.

In a statement issued, Oman Post said:"Dear Valued Customer, It has come to our attention that some of our customers have been receiving fraudulent emails posing to be Oman Post and soliciting payments for package delivery. We would like to inform our customers that our official and only email domain is (@omanpost.om)."

"If you receive an e-mail that you are unsure of its legitimacy, please do not respond or share your personal information, usernames, passwords, or credit card information via email. For any enquiries, please call +968 24170444."
