Muscat: Social Forum Oman organised the fourth phase of Blood Donation Camp at Farah Medical Centre, Azaiba, in association with Red & Green Whatsapp group in cooperation with the Ministry of Health.
The camp started at 9am and blood was collected from about 60 donors. Representatives of the Social Forum claimed that by the end of the fourth phase of the camp, a total of 750 donors would contribute blood.
Dr Dhwani Shah, (Specialist in Dermatology & Cosmetology, Aster Hospital was the chief guest of the programme. She inaugurated the event and enlightened the gathering about the noble cause of donating blood.
Social Forum Oman representative Shafi Trivandrum wlecomed the chief guest by handing over a memento.
Social Forum Oman officials Ramiz, Hamza, Shajeer, Tajudheen, Saleem extended their vote of thanks to the medical team, donors and Farah Medical Centre management, without whom the event would not have been successful.
