Urgent appeal made for blood donation in Oman

Muscat: The Department of Blood Banks Services (DBBS) on Wednesday appealed urgently to those with type A+ and O+ blood to rush to donate.

A statement issued online by the DBBS said: "The Central Blood Bank in Baushar is in urgent need today of blood donors of the (A+,O+) groups due to low level of stock of the two types.”

“For inquiries or to book an appointment for donation, please call 94555648,” the statement added.
