Oman airport closed to traffic

Latest : Salalah Airport resumes operations
Muscat: Air traffic in and out of Salalah Airport has been delayed following an aircraft tyre burst, Oman Airports has revealed.

Following the incident, the airport runway has been temporarily closed.

Flight operations to and from Salalah Airport have been temporarily halted but will be "resumed soon", according to officials.

In a statement issued online, Oman Airports said: “In an incident that occurred in the afternoon of March 10th, where a tyre burst on one of the operating aircrafts to Salalah Airport on landing, this has led to the airport being closed until midnight on 10th March."
