Review conditions of temporary admission of imported machinery: ROP

Muscat: The Royal Oman Police (ROP) has called on the commercial community to review the conditions of temporary admission for machinery and equipment imported into the Sultanate. 

A statement issued by ROP said, “The Royal Oman Police represented by the Directorate General of Customs, calls on the commercial community to review the conditions of temporary admission for machinery and equipment imported into the Sultanate, and finalise the permits and procedures related to the machinery and equipment.”

The statement completed, ”In addition, their purpose of entry and the duration of staying in the Sultanate must be clarified before their arrival at the land, air or seaports. The purpose of this announcement is to expedite the release of goods at the port of entry,” the statement added.
