Earthquake reported in Southern Iran

Muscat: An earthquake has been reported in Southern Iran on Sunday, according to the Earthquake Monitoring Centre (EMC), at the Sultan Qaboos University.

A statement issued online by the EMC said: “An earthquake in southern Iran with magnitude of 4.8, at 8:24 am MCT and at a depth of 15 km. The earthquake was recorded 245 km away from Khasab.”
