Over 4700 commercial registries recorded at MCIIP

Muscat: The total of 4797 commercial registries have been registered at the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion (MCIIP) during the third quarter of 2020, according to the Statistics Department at MCIIP.

The Statistics Department at the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion, stated that the recorded red commercial registries included 2606 registries for single trader category, 595 registries for limited liability companies, 498 registries for single-person companies, 355 registries for household businesses, 319 registries for investment companies, 224 registries for non-profit organisation, 93 registries for solidarity companies, 54 registries for street vendors, 47 registries for limited companies, three registries for government agencies, and three registries for branches of international companies.
