Tropical depression in Arabian Sea intensifies

Muscat: The tropical depression in the Arabian Sea has developed into a deep tropical depression, Oman Meteorology announced on Sunday.

The General Directorate of Oman Meteorology said: "The tropical depression towards the southwest of the Arabian Sea developed into a deep tropical depression with wind speeds around the centre ranging between 28 and 33 knots."
