Cricket fans in Pakistan welcomes PSL

Muscat: Cricket fans in Pakistan are in for a treat, with the last eight matches of the Pakistan Super League’s (PSL) 2019 edition being played in Karachi.

The first 26 matches of the Twenty20 league took place in the United Arab Emirates. However, three of the last eight matches that were scheduled to be played in Lahore will now be held in Karachi.

Cricket fans in Karachi welcomed international cricket stars such as South African off-spinner Wayne Madsen, Australian all-rounder Shane Watson, and Colin Munro who is the current opener of New Zealand’s national cricket team.

Moreover today's match, which is to be held in Karachi, West Indian stars Dwayne Bravo, Darren Sammy and Kieron Pollard also joined the squad. Upon their arrival, the superstars were presented the traditional Balochi Turban.

The match today is scheduled to be played between Karachi Kings and Quetta Gladiators at the National Stadium.
